Attending Events:
Our community provides a sense of friendliness and well-being through shared activities. We provide members a wide range of events and members can choose to attend many events or just a few.
Most of our events have a "comfortable and reasonable" number of members attending as a result, it's much easier to engage and converse with all those attending. Most importantly "smaller" groups makes it much easier to develop friendships. You are important and we value your presence and participation at every event.

Attending Events:
To attend any event you must be a paid member.
Please, no drop in's. allowed
Guests:
* Guests are welcome to attend certain events as indicated in the event description
* Guests can attend one event not multiple events as a guest
Membership:
Equal to about the price of one coffee per month or $49 per year (you get 12 full months from the date of your membership). This is about $4 per month or about one coffee per month. We are confident the value you get will exceed your membership investment.
What value do you get?
- Our community events can easily serve different types of members. Including those who want regular free and very affordable to those who can afford unique higher cost shared experiences.
- You can attend a year of community events as often as you like, making new friends, having a fun time, exploring new interests and sharing new experiences.
- You benefit from the efforts of those who dedicate time planning, promoting and attending events
How to pay the annual membership:

What do we use the membership fees for?
- Meetup Platform Subscription Costs.
- Expenses such as:
- Event supplies, party supplies, rental expenses, group social events (eg. picnics, ice cream socials) restaurant reservations charges, purchase of new and replacement boardgames and sports equipment
- Some of the fees also help compensate the organizers and hosts for their time, researching, planning, promoting and incurring expenses engaging with members and participating at every event consistently every month.
Code of Conduct:
We provide a fun community that is safe and welcoming. This is a social group. This group is not about dating or promoting a business.
Unsolicited messages to members are not allowed. Solicitation of members for business purposes or to date is not allowed. These actions could result in immediate expulsion from this social group.
Treat everyone (this includes members, owners, venue staff and guests) in a respectful and welcoming fashion. No bullying, harassment, antagonizing, aggression, accusations, demeaning or insults towards any member. No member is permitted to distress other members, encourage drama and friction amongst members, and/or spoil members enjoyment with the group and at events. These behaviors will not be tolerated and immediate expulsion from this social group is possible.
Respect Volunteer Organizers:
They do their best and aim to deliver good value and great shared experiences. Please show respect and appreciation to all the volunteer organizers and owners for their time and effort.
Safety:
You will be responsible for your own safety and well being at all events. Organizers and Hosts, cannot be held responsible for your participation in any event.

Kensington Pitch and Putt, 5889 Curtis Street, Burnaby, BC, CA"Get ready to tee it up! We’re hosting a casual day of pitch and putt, and we’d love to see you there. No pro skills required—just come for some laughs, sunshine, and friendly competition.
It takes about 2 hours to get through all 18 holes. Yardage ranges from 50 - 110 yards, so you could play with just 2-3 clubs and a ball or 2.

Location, location, location There’s nothing like spending a summer evening in North Vancouver’s beautiful Shipyards District.
We’re talking about amazing food trucks serving up everything from tacos to Thai, an artisan market full of unique treasures, and the best beer garden on the North Shore. Plus, live music that will have you dancing the night away

If rain is forcasted this North Vancouver event will still be on but the meetup event will be canceled.
The band changes weekly. If they play music I don't like I will not go. You and some others may still attend, so sign up.

It can get very full at the event. Based on past experience if we are a group of 5 or more some of us could be standing!
Arrive early if you want to eat from the food trucks.
If I go, I usually arrive between 6:15 and 6:45 (see comments section for updates)

*The entrance to the Beer Garden is under the "TALL YELLOW CRANE" visible from the Quay.
