Love 1980s music? You've found your people.
80s Music Connection is a virtual Zoom meetup for fans who enjoy going a little deeper into the music of the decade: from huge Top 40 hits to forgotten favorites, one-hit wonders, chart history, MTV, radio culture, and songs that deserve another listen.
Each meetup explores a different theme. We listen to music together, share some of the stories and chart history behind the songs, mix in trivia and conversation, and leave room for member requests and favorites.
Recent and upcoming themes include individual years and music charts, cover songs, people and places in song titles, forgotten hits, and other corners of 80s music.
New to the group? You're welcome to simply listen. Cameras are optional, and there's no pressure to speak or request a song. This isn't karaoke; it's a relaxed place to listen, discover, reminisce, and talk about great music with other 80s fans.
Whether your tastes run toward pop, rock, new wave, dance, R&B, adult contemporary, or the songs that rarely make today's 80s playlists, you're welcome here.

Live 80s Zoom Music Club: People or Places

Join us on Zoom for an evening of 80s songs with one thing in common: every song has the name of a person or place in its title.
From first names and famous characters to cities, countries, streets, and other destinations, we'll see how many different people and places found their way into the music of the decade.We'll listen together to a mix of familiar hits and less obvious selections, with some chart history, trivia, and stories behind the songs along the way. There will also be opportunities to share your own favorites and requests that fit the theme.
