About us
This group is designed to bring people of all ages and abilities together to have adventures, outdoors and indoors. Our event organizers post meetups to enjoy what Oklahoma and surrounding states have to offer. Events will range from outdoor adventures including hiking, camping, and biking and indoor adventures such as dinners and museums, as well as other unique events as they come up.
Note: By RSVP'ing to meetups, you acknowledge that event hosts are volunteers, you are responsible for yourself and your actions, and the group will not be held liable for potential injuries. I want to make sure this group is a fun and safe environment for everyone but there are inherent risks associated with outdoor activities. Happy adventuring!

Campout at Birch Lake
Birch lake, 123 fake street, Barnsdall, OK, USCampout at Birch Lake.
There is a substantial change of plans… it is too hot. I don’t want to camp outside. still doing both races. But I got a cabin at Osage hills. If you see this late: comment. Scott/roxie I’ll text you. And you can meet the special lady in my life.
Event 1: tour de Cowtown (bike race). It’s on the Saturday. I signed up for the 44 mile route. If you want to also participate, sign up here: https://www.tourdecowtown.com . The event is in Coweta. 64 miles from campsite and it starts early in the morning.
Event 2: Tulsa Triathlon 2026. It’s on Sunday. For details go here: https://runsignup.com/Race/OK/Barnsdall/TATTulsaTri?raceRefCode=WeDqhgWk . The swim portion is an open water swim at Birch Lake. (Hence the campout. I signed up for the sprint.
Do not feel obligated to do either event. Going just camping is perfectly fine. Since I’ll be disappearing for a number of hours during the meetup, I feel obligated to disclose my plans now. Or maybe wonder over on Sunday to watch me finish ;)
