About us
Get out and ride! This is a group for anyone in Arvada, CO or nearby areas to meet up for bike rides around the area. Arvada is a great place to ride, with tons of trails, parks, bike lanes, and great weather. Riding is a great way to explore new areas of the city or get to know your own neighborhood. We have experienced riders to lead rides for all ability levels, including recreational rides (12-16 miles at an exercise pace) as well as shorter and slower kid-friendly rides (3-5 miles at a conversational pace).

BFA 8 Brewery Ride
Colorado Tap House, 14982 West 69th Ave, Arvada, CO, USBFA 8 Brewery Ride
Raise your glass and celebrate bicycling! Join this afternoon ride starting from the Colorado Tap House. The Colorado Tap House is located right on Ralston Creek Trail just west of Indiana and is very bike friendly with 50 individual bike parking spaces. The route is 18 miles but includes a short cut for thirsty riders.
All riders are required to wear a helmet, follow bike safety and traffic laws, and sign a waiver. BFA ride leaders will give a briefing 5 minutes before the ride begins and outline the route and other specifics for the day. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the ride begins to give yourself enough time to get ready.
What to bring:
• Your bike (in good working condition)
• Mobile phone
• Water
• Helmet
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses (recommended to keep bugs and sunlight out of your eyes)
• Weather-appropriate clothing

BFA 9 Community Gardens Ride
Arvada Community Garden, 9195 W 57th Ave, Arvada, CO, USBFA 9 Community Gardens Ride
Come explore local community gardens throughout the city. The ride starts at the Arvada Community Garden at 57th and Garrison before visiting several other community gardens—Common Earth, Rose Roots, Little Sprouts, North Arvada Middle School--in Arvada before returning to the Arvada Community Garden for a tour. The history of each garden is discussed.

BFA 10 Ice Cream Family Ride

This is the only family ride this year. Attach a trailer and bring the kids along for this roughly 5-mile ride on trails and bike friendly streets. BFA is treating everyone to free ice cream provided by Power Cone following the event.All riders are required to wear a helmet, follow bike safety and traffic laws, and sign a waiver. BFA 11 Ride to Buffalo Bill Parade
Van Bibber Open Space, 52nd And Ward Rd, Arvada, CO, USBFA 11 Ride to Buffalo Bill’s Day Parade
The ride leaves Van Bibber Open Space Park, 5575 Ward Rd at 9am and heads west to Golden and is timed to arrive just before the Buffalo Bill’s Day parade begins. We will watch for a while and then head back to Van Bibber Park, or you can stay in Golden and enjoy the festivities.
