Confident Rooster Society returns to City Vino with The Pecking Order—a completely unscripted night of improv where the audience gets to decide what happens next. Maybe someone becomes the mayor of a very small town. Maybe there’s a family feud over a chicken coop. Maybe a bottle of Cabernet becomes a key piece of evidence. Honestly, nobody knows. There’s no script, no rehearsal, and absolutely no guarantee that the story will make sense. Just audience suggestions, quick-witted performers, unexpected characters, and enough wine to make you wonder why the rooster is suddenly wearing a cape. So grab a glass, pick your place in the flock, and prepare to find out... Who’s really at the top of The Pecking Order?

Join us at City Vino for a Halloween-season edition of Drunk History—an evening of carefully paired wines, dark history, and plenty of laughs. This time, we’re exploring witches, witchcraft, and superstitions in colonial America, along with the strange and sometimes brutal world of crime and punishment. From fears of curses to punishments you definitely wouldn’t want to receive, we’ll uncover a side of early American life that’s equal parts unsettling, outrageous, and perfect for spooky season. Each storytelling segment will be paired with a carefully selected wine, and we’ll also enjoy cupcakes from Cool Cat Cupcakes paired with one of the evening’s stories. A little something sweet to go with history’s darker side.

$30 per person--- Come tickle the tiles and your taste buds! Whether you're brand new to Mahjongg, sharpening your skills, or already love the game, there's a seat waiting for you. Enjoy two hours of guided, social play in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Ticket includes: one glass of wine, popcorn, your seat at the table, guided and social play.
Lunch, additional wine, and other menu items are available for purchase.

Come meet Ried Doughtery, Assistant Winemaker & Distribution Lead for Hark Vineyards, as he pours a flight of Hark wines and takes us behind the scenes of this Virginia winery.
Hear the story of Aaron and Candy Hark and head winemaker AJ Gurley—the people behind the wines, the winery, and the vision that has helped put Hark on the map. Ried will share the stories, the winemaking, and, most importantly, the wines themselves.
Several Hark wines have recently brought home medals in competition, so come taste the wines, hear what goes on behind the scenes, and get the inside scoop from someone who helps make it happen.
