See all- Memory Cafe: GardeningElmhurst Public Library, Elmhurst, IL
A Memory Cafe is a welcoming place for a shared experience between individuals with Alzheimer's Diseases, dementia, or other cognitive or memory impairment disorders and their caregivers. Each session focuses on a different topic and may include activities, hands-on crafts, games, music, or educational presentations. The goal is to guide participants through exercises that encourage reminiscing and spark memories.

The recent ruling of the World Health Organization over gaming addiction raised a lot of questions about what it means to play video games. Learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy amounts of gaming and when games cross the line to being dangerous or damaging to play.
