We're going on another field trip to build with Habitat for Humanity in Pagosa Springs, Colorado!
The construction crew is planning to head up on Thursday to build on Friday, and a few of us are leaving Friday morning to build in the afternoon; if you don't work Friday feel free to join. We'll plan on a dinner together Friday night, a build on Saturday, and a Sunday AM activity.
**Let us know in the comments when you want to head up to Pagosa so we can carpool. There will probably be cars going up Thursday night, Friday morning, and Friday afternoon/evening**
A few of us have also booked a large cabin and have extra rooms/beds available. Depending on how many people we have staying there to split the cost across, it will be $100-$200/person for the weekend.
Basic free lodging could also be provided at a church, which is equipped with showers and a kitchen; bring your own sleeping pad and bedding.
**Let us know in the comments if you want to stay at the rental cabin/house to secure your spot.**
Tentative schedule for the weekend:
4:00 p.m. Friday: meet at La Montanita Co-op on W Alameda in Santa Fe to carpool to Pagosa Springs. Find somewhere in Pagosa Springs to have dinner, or bring food to cook once we arrive at the church.
8:00 a.m. Saturday: build day starts
3:00 p.m. Saturday: build day ends
Dinner Saturday: at Gary and Linda's house, time TBD.
9:00 a.m. Sunday: vacate the church and/or rental house and float a river, soak in a hot spring, or go for a hike before driving back to Santa Fe.
This event will be limited to ten people, so RSVP asap to secure your spot, or cancel your RSVP if you can't make it to allow someone on the waitlist to attend.
