IN PERSON: Awakened Flow with Jhannyn
Heal One World, 3503 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA, USTeacher bio:
Jhannyn is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, lifelong student of yoga, and dedicated practitioner of meditation for over 5 years. She completed her training through The Yoga Tree Coop, a program rooted in social justice, inclusivity, and accessibility — values that continue to shape her teaching and presence in the community. Her classes offer a slow, intentional flow that centers breath, body awareness, and choice. Jhannyn creates welcoming spaces where all bodies and identities are honored, and where yoga becomes a tool for healing, reconnection, and inner strength. She invites students to move at their own pace, listen deeply, and approach practice as both a personal and collective journey toward wholeness.
Class description:
Start your day with a gentle, beginner-friendly flow that invites you to reconnect with your breath, body, and inner rhythm. We’ll move slowly and intentionally through simple vinyasa-style sequences, pausing for moments of stillness and grounding. This class is designed to help you build strength, improve flexibility, and find calm — all at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.

Class Description
This beginner-friendly class is designed for individuals who are curious about meditation or looking to establish a consistent mindfulness practice. Together, we will explore simple, practical techniques that help bring awareness, calm, and balance into everyday life.
Participants will learn foundational meditation skills, including breath awareness, grounding practices, present-moment focus, and strategies for quieting the mind. Whether you are completely new to meditation or seeking to strengthen your foundation, this class offers a supportive space to develop the tools and confidence needed to deepen your practice over time.
Each 45-minute session includes approximately 30 minutes of guided mindfulness and meditation practice. Following the meditation, participants will spend 10–15 minutes reflecting on their experience, setting personal intentions, and discussing ways to carry mindfulness into daily life. Participants are encouraged to bring a journal, notebook, or other writing tool to capture intentions, insights, and any notes they would like to revisit throughout their mindfulness journey.
No prior experience is necessary. Come as you are and discover how small, intentional moments of mindfulness can create greater peace, clarity, and connection within yourself.Teacher Bio
I am a Certified Meditation Teacher and Certified Mindfulness Coach, dedicated to making mindfulness approachable, practical, and accessible for everyday life. My work blends over 25 years of experience in the mental health field with the transformative practices of meditation and mindfulness, helping others cultivate greater awareness, balance, resilience, and inner peace.
Meditation has been a meaningful part of my own life for more than 25 years, teaching me the value of slowing down, being present, and creating space for growth and healing. Throughout my career, I have been drawn to helping people feel seen, supported, and grounded as they navigate life’s challenges.
My journey has shown me that healing and personal growth often begin with something simple yet powerful: learning to pause, reconnect with ourselves, and become more present in our own lives. I believe mindfulness is not about perfection — it is about creating small moments of awareness that can lead to meaningful change.Heal One World is a nonprofit dedicated to providing holistic preventative healthcare services and low or no cost—no one is turned away due to lack of funds.
