What we’re about
The Hiawatha Bicycling Club is a recreational riding club. This meetup was created to showcase some of our numerous rides. We always welcome fellow bike riders to join us on a ride. Feel free to check our calendar online and come out for a ride.
For more information please check our web site: www.hiawathabike.org
Every month during the season we provide about 60 rides to appeal to a wide variety of rider skills and desires. We have slow, medium and fast rides, rides from 15 to 100 miles in length and rides over every type of terrain. The Club is social in nature in that we have many rides built around casual riding, sight-seeing, meals, charitable activities, etc. You will find our rides throughout the 11-county metropolitan area, in other states and even in other countries. In other words, we have your kind of ride! We also host bicycling related educational events during the winter months, featuring local speakers who have specialized biking knowledge or who have participated in unique bicycling events.
