About us
This is a group for anyone interested in random activities that may be less frequently offered in other types of meetups. Some sample activities include getting bubble tea, photography, snowboarding, Pokemon Go, nature walks, biking, reading a book series, visiting art galleries, going to comedy clubs, etc. Events are organized around a broad range of activities, just depending on organizers' interests and imagination, and what members support through their participation. The goal is not to replace other groups but to fill times and offer diverse opportunities other groups haven't covered, and build shared social experiences.
Safety is always a priority for Random Fun meetups. If anyone notices behaviors or circumstances of concern that are not consistent with meetup policy please bring it to an organizers' attention. We want to create a fun and safe environment that makes everyone feel welcome at every event.

Think Fast Trivia @ VFW Post 1318 "The V"
VFW Post 1318, 2740 Ski Ln, Madison, WI, USThis week is the end-of-summer trivia challenge for Think Fast Trivia, Madison's best trivia experience. 100 questions, plus a final "trivia equation" question where you can risk it all. One winner will take home $1000.
This is an individual competition, not for a team, so everyone will need their own mobile phone or other internet connected device to participate. Come with a full charge because it may take 3 hours. Arrive early because it may get crowded.
The $1000 trivia challenge is open to anyone, but throughout the summer those who attended Think Fast Trivia were given some answers that will appear, and shown some trivia "scavenger hunt" questions to research, but that gives them at most half the answers. See the photo section for some rules and additional information.
VFW posts are not just for veterans. All are welcome, and "The V" is a typical bar & grill, though a bit cleaner, better lit, and better food than average. The usual crowd is no different than any other trivia night in Madison.
