About us
This Meetup group is hosted by the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (UK). We teach Raja Yoga as a way of experiencing peace of mind and a positive approach to life. In addition, we provide a number of events, talks, workshops and seminars for people from all religious and cultural backgrounds to explore their own spirituality and learn life skills of reflection and meditation, derived from Raja Yoga. This has helped thousands of people across the UK develop inner calm, clear thinking and personal well-being. Learn Raja Yoga Meditation - free 4 part online Introductory course in June
·OnlineOnlineThis free beginners course in Raja Yoga meditation is held over 4 consecutive Thursday evenings in the month.
This months course commences Thursday 4th June followed by 3 consecutive Thursday evenings 11th, 18th and 25th.
Each session is an hour and a half (7.00 pm - 8.30 pm).You will need to attend the course from the 1st session and registration is required. (18 years of age and over).
The meditation which the Brahma Kumaris practise is known as "Raja Yoga". It is based on an understanding of the soul's journey.In this course we will explore a simple meditation technique and learn how to reconnect with the original power of the soul.

Session 1 'Working with our minds'
We take our first steps in meditation and explore ways to make our minds work wellSession 2 'Deepening our meditation experience'
We move from thinking to being and deepen our understanding of how the mind worksSession 3 'Raising our Consciousness'
We learn to rise above the mundane in order to experience a tranquil state of mind.Session 4 'Recharging our Battery'
In this final session we learn to tap into the power available through meditation and explore ways to connect with the Divine.
