Galena Creek Trail
Location not specified yetExperience this 4.8-mile out-and-back trail near Reno, Nevada. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 hours to complete. This is a very popular area for horseback riding, mountain biking, and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are April through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Summit Lake Hike
Donner Summit Sno Park, Bunny Hill Dr, Soda Springs, CA, USEnjoy this 5 mile with 433 elevation gain hike. The Summit Lake Trail begins at the Donner Summit Sno Park. From there we'll cross under interstate 80 via a tunnel system. The route takes you to Summit Lake and around the lake on a short loop.
WE’LL LEAVE FROM THE IHOP AT 7:15 AM.

For those of you who might be interested in car pooling up to the trailhead, we'll meet at the IHOP and Instant Smog on North McCarran Blvd (take Sierra Highlands Dr). WE’LL LEAVE FROM THE IHOP AT 8:00AM. If you are not interested in carpooling, show up at the IHOP and we can caravan to the trailhead.
Bring water and something for lunch.
Dogs need to be on a leash and picked up after. If the dog can demonstrate that it is under total voice control of the owner, then the leash can be removed at the discretion of the trip Organizer.
