Join us for a screening of selections from the Ken Burns documentary mini-series “US and the Holocaust.” The screening will be followed by a Q&A and discussion led by Kristin Levere from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Documentary description: The U.S. and the Holocaust examines America’s response to one of the greatest humanitarian crises of the twentieth century. Through riveting firsthand testimony of witnesses and survivors, this documentary reveals how restrictive policies, indifference, and bureaucracy left countless refugees stranded, challenging America’s ideals as a “nation of immigrants”

Join us for a plant swap! We welcome potted plants, plant cuttings, seeds and clean gardening supplies in good condition to trade or give away. All plants must be healthy and free of pests and disease. Please label your plants if possible.

There will also be an activity hosted by the San Antonio Botanical Garden! Learn about your favorite Texas wildflowers and make seed bombs you can take home. Registration is not required and all materials will be provided.

Discover photographs, maps, declassified records, and other valuable genealogy and historical resources. Patrons will also receive additional genealogy research tools and guidance to help uncover their family stories.
