Willkommen! Hier sind Sie richtig, wenn Sie in eine Welt eintauchen wollen, in der Werte noch einen Wert haben. Schlaraffia® ist ein Spiel, das 1859 in Prag gegründet wurde. Heute gibt es ca. 260 Reyche (Ortsvereine der Schlaraffen) mit über 10.000 Mitgliedern in Europa davon überwiegend in Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz, Nord- und Südamerika, Südafrika, Thailand und Australien. In jedem dieser Reyche wird deutsch gesprochen. Schlaraffia ist eine Persiflage auf das Leben. Als deutschsprachiger Männerbund, wir sind weder geheim, noch politisch oder berufsfördernd. Wir vereinein uns auf einmalige Art und Weise, Freundschaft mit Humor und Kunst.

Wenn Sie selbst gerne rezitieren, musizieren, dichten, komponieren, zuhören und zusehen, gerne malen, zaubern oder anderen Künsten nachgehen dann bietet Ihnen Schlaraffia® ein Forum, das Ihnen mit Toleranz, Geist, und Humor ein Wunderland des Geistes eröffnet. Die Beiträge der Sassen (Mitglieder Schlaraffias) sind teils ernst, teils heiter und sollten humorvollen Ergänzungen, Kommentaren und Wortspielen durch die Zuhörerschaft durchaus Raum geben. Lernen Sie uns kennen!

Ihr Leitspruch heisst «In arte voluptas», «In der Kunst liegt das Vergnügen».

Sollte mich je ein Unwissender fragen: Was macht ihr Schlaraffen? Ich würde ihm sagen:

Wir sind Freunde, musisch meist, Lachen gerne über Spaß mit Geist.

Wir sitzen beisammen, es wird nicht geprahlt, Wer mehr verdient, wer mehr bezahlt.

Es gilt nicht das Alter, nicht die Position, Dafür mehr der Stil, der gute Ton.

Alles Dinge, die in der heutigen Zeit Registriert werden unter ‚Vergangenheit‘.

Wenn andere meinen, sowas kann man nur träumen, Sei ihnen gesagt, dass sie vieles versäumen,

Wenn sie nicht, wie wir seit Jahren, Der Welt zum Trotz, dies alles bewahren

Welcome! You've come to the right place if you're looking for a world where you can dive into German language and culture where friendship, humor, and the arts still matter. Schlaraffia® is a game that was founded in Prague in 1859. Today there are approximately 260 Reyche (Chapters within Schlaraffia) with over 10,000 members worldwide and mostly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, North and South America, Thailand and Australia. In all of these chapters German is spoken.

Schlaraffia brings everyone together through its unique atmosphere and satire of life. As a German-speaking group for men, we are neither secret nor political nor business-oriented. We are bound together by our unique way of life, friendship with humor and the arts.

If you enjoy public speaking, music, poetry, composing, painting, magic, pursuing other arts or just taking it all in, then we offer Schlaraffia to you as a forum and wonderland of tolerance in a spirit of humor. The contributions of the Sassen (Members of Schlaraffia) are sometimes serious, sometimes carefree, and stand for humorful additions, commentary, and word play among the listeners. Come get to know us!

A saying that guides us is «In arte voluptas», «Within art lies satisfaction».

Should someone pose the question to me: What is a Schlaraffe? I know what my answer would be:

We're friends, musicians are a ton, Laughing easily and boldly about our fun.

We sit next to each other, no need to brag or bray, who earns more, who can better pay.

It's not about age, not who is known, It's much more the style, the good tone.

Current events are vast, They’ll be registered under “the past”.

Others suggest this is a place of which we can only dream, They’re told it’s a wasteful scheme,

They’re not aware of what we’ve had for years, Defying the world with our own frontiers!
