Danny Setiawan is a design executive with over 20 years of experience in UX/Product Design, currently serving as Head of UX at AmericanEagle.com where he leads UX strategy for enterprise e-commerce clients. His diverse experience includes leadership roles at The Economist, where he transformed their mobile strategy, and Yahoo! Finance, where he helped shape the user experience for millions of users.
Danny has been at the forefront of integrating AI tools into UX workflows, pioneering the use of various GenAI tools to improve efficiency in research, prototyping, and content creation processes. His experience spans multiple domains including e-commerce, fintech, edtech, and digital media, giving him a unique perspective on AI's practical applications across different industries.
As an experienced workshop facilitator, Danny has led Enterprise Design Thinking sessions for Fortune 500 companies and served as a Lead UX Instructor at both Flatiron School and General Assembly.
