For a Return Ticket-with Arthur Rainville Thursday, October 8th at 1:30
Award-winning photographer Arthur Rainville, M.PHOTOG. CR, CPP, API, ASP HON.
ESP present his program “…for a Return Ticket”! Mr. Rainville says that this program
“
…will be about the big Why… why do we make photographs? For a return ticket of
course. We want to slide back to a memory, a time, a place, a face… somewhere,
something, someone that was, is, an integral part of the fabric of our life. As visual
artists we create these images from two sides of our creative brain. We weave the
technique into a viable language with or seeing brainside and we cement it with our
feelings, our personal connection way of making the image a worth emotional treasure.”
Rainville will share a bohemian approach to crafting powerful work from landscape to
nature to “real humans.” Drawing from historic art and from his trove of personal
experiences as a lifelong celebrated photographic artist and educator, he will offer a
rarified path to the new meaningful imagery.
