What we’re about
Our mission is to share information about the art and science of photography and to educate our members and the general public to bring about a greater appreciation for the art of photography in the valley with an emphasis on the urban communities. The Valley Photo Center is a 501c3 not for profit corporation located on the mezzanine level of Tower Square at 1500 Main St. in Springfield MA. All of our gallery exhibits, receptions, and noon time programs are open to the general public and are free. We also want to offer photography workshops, trips, and shoots in various places of various subjects!

The club Valley Photo Center/Longmeadow Camera Club meeting will be on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 1:30 at the Longmeadow Adult Center You can attend the live meeting if you are 55+ but you can participate in the contest and critique at any age on line.
You can submit up to 4 of your images until Sunday, August 10, 2025 for judging by all of the members of the Valley Photo Center My Camera Club and more importantly you can write comments about the photos and we'll critique them at the meeting.
We have ribbons available for the judging portion and images that are selected will be printed by the Valley Photo Center at no charge to you with a grant provided by the Springfield Cultural Commission and displayed at the Springfield Gallery.
To submit photos you need to join the Valley Photo Center on My Camera Club. It is free to join and enter:
You can join the on line club site for free. If you have any trouble signing up or submitting photos please contact me for help.
1. Go to: https://mycameraclub.com
2. Click on Join in the right hand corner of the page
3. That will take you to a page that has a heading Create A New Account and will ask you for your name, email, and to create a password.
4. After you click on the Join button click on Find a club to join
5. On the top right hand corner of the page you are directed to type in Valley Photo Center
6. On the next page just click on Valley Photo Center
7. You’ll go to the Valley Photo Center home page and on the top right hand corner it will say: You are not. Member of this club and underneath that it will say Request to Join, click on that

9. To upload photos go to the menu bar on the top of the page and click on Contests
