Put the phone down. Pick a book up!
A group for people who still believe books deserve more than a "want to read" shelf collecting digital dust. We actually read them. No algorithms. No "people who liked this also liked". Only real people, old-fashioned face-to-face conversation, and probably too many opinions about the ending.
How it works
We meet once a month in person at a local café to discuss a pre-announced book. The book should be read before the meeting.
Discussion questions will be posted in the event description one week before we meet.
At the end of each meeting we choose the next book together.
If you propose a book, I may ask if you'd like to put together the discussion questions for it, but this is completely voluntary. You can write all of them, some of them, or none at all.
