What we’re about
Welcome to AI Meetup Copenhagen. This is a multidisciplinary group & meetup for innovators, creators, and techies who are passionate about learning and talking about Artificial Intelligence.
The focus of the group is our quarterly meetups in Copenhagen (IRL). Join us to network and share ideas with nice people with diverse skills.
We will explore cutting-edge AI technologies and tools, as well as creative use cases and business ideas, so whether you're a seasoned expert or starting to dive deeper into the world of AI, this meetup is the perfect place to learn, connect, and collaborate.
[Please note]: Data scientists, AI developers and AI/ML researchers are more than welcome to join, of course, but PLEASE NOTE that other groups are better suited for you if your main goal is to learn more about Python code and discuss "highly technical" AI perspectives and methods with your peers :-)
Let's come together and learn more about AI:
* Interesting speakers & talks
* Tools, demonstrations, tips & tricks
* Creative use cases & innovation
* Business applications & starts-ups
* Future perspectives
Best regards,

SPEAKER BIOS & TOPICS:
Mads Henrichsen is the founder of syv.ai and one of Denmark's leading experts in generative AI, with a strong background as a data scientist and extensive experience in machine learning. He trained DanskGPT, the first Danish LLM, by gathering the data himself and investing 100.000 DKK of his own money on compute.
Topic: Teaching language to language models.
Charlotte Blou Sand is a serial entrepreneur and the CEO of HIVE Robots. She previously co-founded and led True Energy, an EV smart charging company acquired by global energy leader Landis+Gyr. She has also founded Sandgården Udlejning and serves as Chair of the Board at Crestwing, a wave energy company. Her expertise spans startup growth, digital product development, and scaling operations.
Topic: Humanoid robots are becoming more capable, accessible, and relevant — but how close are we to seeing them deliver real value in everyday life? In this session, Charlotte will share HIVE Robots’ perspective on the rising potential of humanoids, why they matter now, and what it takes to unlock their value. She’ll outline HIVE’s vision for developing practical robot skills and deploying them across industries — and give a live demonstration of a humanoid robot in action.
Peder Hammerskov is a journalist and educator who leads the Center for AI at DMJX. He helps newsrooms and public institutions use GenAI in a careful, practical way with a focus on ethics, quality, and workflow design. He has trained teams at DR, JP/Politikens Hus, and several municipalities, and runs community projects that share methods and case studies across the Danish media sector. His work centers on simple tools, transparent practices, and measurable impact in daily work.
Talk title: "What I’ve learned from teaching GenAI. After many workshops with journalists, communicators, and public sector teams, clear patterns keep showing up. With this talk, I share the habits that help people get value from GenAI without losing their craft."
Benjamin Dalsgaard Hughes is an Associate Professor at KEA, where he teaches software development and conducts research on generative AI.
Topic: MinEksamen is a browser-based tool that simulates real exam scenarios for students. You can share your screen and receive a task along with questions relevant to what you are doing. At the end, the student will receive feedback and a grade. The simulator helps students practice answering questions about their code or project repositories under realistic exam conditions, making them more confident and better prepared for their actual exams.
Tim Allison is a design Director and product builder. For the past 9 years, Tim has led product design for Zendesk in EMEA. He’s now embarking on a new journey, working with AI as both a product partner and a compass.
Demo: From vibe coding a wellness site in Denmark to launching Hot100.ai, a community chart for indie AI projects, Tim will share insights, hidden costs, hallucinations, and hallelujahs on the road to building with AI.
