Hello.... All My Weekend Warriors this is for YOU!
Let’s spend some time on the beautiful Salt River.The flow has been great, the water level's been good, should be a beautiful Sunday morning given us a chance to see some of the amazing creatures and animals and yes (the people) as we float/paddle down the salt.
So let’s get on the river before the Tubers fill the river!**** LET'S ENJOY OUR PADDLE******
We just went down on Friday and the river was flowing at a good level for a nice run down the beautiful Salt River. So, I would like to make an event of it for all you weekend fun seekers....Join Us!
Can't think of a better way to enjoy Sunday morning then with a relaxing float, meeting and enjoy Amazing people while having some fun on this ARIZONA ADVENTURE on the Beautiful Salt River this Sunday morning!!
The weather forecast is for double digits for the first time in quite some time the high 100° and 81° for the low....OUTSTANDING! Start time should give us plenty of time to finish the river before the clouds and possible rain and Thunderstorm that will be moving in later in the day.
******THIS SHOULD BE AMAZING & RELAXING and FUN !!*******
We will meet and be ready to go at 8:00 AM at Phon D. Sutton Recreation Area (Ending point). Air up our IFD/SUP, Then condense down to a few vehicles and carpool/shuttle up to Water Users Recreation Site (Starting point). unload kayaks and boards, bring our PFD down by water, (East end of main parking lot by restrooms).
Would like to be on the river at 8:30 AM to enjoy the Amazing Arizona Morning....Things you may need... PFD / Drinking Water, Life Jacket (your choice to wear one while on the water), Sunblock, Hat, Snacks, and any other items that you as an experienced kayaker likes to bring kayaking... And very important your sense for an Amazing Arizona Adventure
*For parking you will need a Tonto Pass (pay stations available) If purchased in advance only $8, at pay station $12. or ATB card (America The Beautiful) card. I recommend that you get a pass in advance as sometimes the vending machines on site do not work.

NOW HOW ABOUT FINISHING IT OF RIGHT WITH A MONDAY MORNING PADDLE DOWN THE SALT RIVER.... Lets do the Salt!Can't think of a better way to spend this Labor Day, but with a Monday morning relaxing paddle/float, and have some fun with friends and fellow members on this ARIZONA ADVENTURE down the Beautiful Salt River Monday morning!!

Let's try and beat the rush and get and earlier start so we can find parking spots up at Phon D. Sutton & Water Users Recreation Area.
***PLEASE NOTE EARLIER START TIME 6:30AM READY TO GO! ***
The temperature will be a nice Monday on the Salt River so Come one Come all. Tubers are on river, they start at 8:00AM... we may have a few, that's okay it should still give us a good opportunity to enjoy all there is to see along the rivers edge like Bald Eagles, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Osprey... and maybe we might catch sight of a Road runner just to mention a few of our bird species. Maybe catch sight of a North American River Otter, Coyotes, Rabbits and even skunks.... And just Maybe see the Sacred Cow.. and of course the Wild Horses.
***Meet up at and ready to go at 6:30 AM at Phone D. Sutton Recreation Area (Ending point) Arrive a little early to Air Up your IFD/SUP (If you have a hard shell or Inflatable Kayak and can't transport anything else it might be best to meet us up at starting location just Let Us Know so we can look for you). Then will see what vehicles we can leave and condense down and load up to drive up to Water Users Recreation Site (Starting point) unload kayaks and Paddle boards, and bring down to launch area (East end of main parking lot, (pathway behind restrooms), Would like to be on the river by 7:15 AM to enjoy the Amazing Arizona Morning....
