We have joined together to build meaningful connections, make new friends, and enjoy a variety of social activities. Miracle Berry Party (A party for your taste buds!)
734 Brewing Company, 15 E Cross St., Ypsilanti, MI, USThe miracle berry is a small, red fruit from West Africa that contains a protein called miraculin, which temporarily alters the taste buds to make sour foods taste sweet. The effect lasts for up to two hours.
I'll bring the miracle berries and plates. You bring one of the following (post in the comments what you'll bring):
- Lemon wedges → taste like lemonade
- Lime wedges → taste like limeade / candy
- Grapefruit → becomes incredibly sweet
- Strawberries → taste sugar-dipped
- Goat cheese → turns into cheesecake
- Apple cider vinegar (sip) → becomes like sweet apple syrup
- Balsamic vinegar → tastes like dessert glaze
- Greek yogurt (plain) → becomes fruity vanilla yogurt
- Hot sauce (vinegar-based) → heat stays, flavor becomes sweet
- Tomatoes → taste like sweet fruit
- Sour gummies → lose sourness, turn into pure candy
- Pineapple → becomes caramel-sweet
- Kiwis → become tropical candy
- Cranberries (fresh or dried unsweetened) → shockingly sweet
- Pickles→ taste like sweet pickles / bread-and-butter pickles
