Who’s ready for change? After all, everyone needs a little change in their lives, right???
Well, since numerous members have requested to have our Bunco event on a weekend, we feel we cannot disappoint.
So, we are going to host our Bunco event at Davani's on a Sunday. We are hoping many of you can join us. 😊
Since our last Bunco sessions were a huge success, how can we not play again??? We just need at least 20 people once again for another fun event! We would accept another group of 4 as well, for a total of 24. But no uneven amounts preferred. It's not fun if we don't have all the tables with 4 people each. So if we get a total of 20, then there will be a waitlist made. If we get 4 people on that waitlist, then we will move them over to the Going list. If less than 4, then they remain on the Waitlist.

We have the room reserved at 11:30. Davani's opens at 11:00, and they do need some time to prepare for the day. If you want to arrive a few minutes early, no earlier than 11:15 is preferred (according to them).
BUT we need everyone to arrive by 11:30 am, so everyone can order, and be done eating so we can start Bunco close to 12:30 pm.

PLEASE, only sign up if you know you can attend. RSVP’S will be turned off 3 days before the event at 7 pm so there are no late add-ons or late cancellations.

Whether you are familiar with the dice game Bunco, please feel free to sign up. 🎲 It is a fun, easy game to learn that is played with 5 tables of 4 people each, 20 people total. If we are able to get 24 people, then it'll be 6 tables of 4. That then means more money for us to win! 🤑 Great social game that brings everyone together! What could be better than that? 😄

***EVERYONE is expected to spend at least $7 on food/beverages since we are reserving a room. Also, everyone is expected to play since we need 5 or 6 tables of 4 people, and it is the highlight of the event. 🎲🎲

Each player needs to bring 5 to put in the pot. Small bills preferred (1's and 5's). Pot will be split amongst the various winners. 🤑🤑

***If you take yourself off the "Going" list inside of the 3 days before the event, you will earn a strike and/or be removed from the group for 3 months, depending on how many strikes you have earned. All we ask is you show up when you say you will.

Let the weekend begin with Happy Hour/Dinner at Clives in Blaine. They have many HH drink specials 🍻🍹 before 6 pm and appetizer specials before 5 pm.

***We will meet by 4:45 so people who want to order an appetizer off the HH menu can have the chance to do so before 5 pm. They have quite a few great deals. 😋 But everyone will order food by 5:15 pm, even if you order off the menu.

As always, all RSVP rules apply.
***All RSVP's will be closed two days before the event to prevent last minute add-ons and cancelations. So please be sure you are coming if your name is on the "Going" list. We hate to have people on the wait list miss out.
A strike will be given if you are a "No Show", or you do not take your name off the "Going" list by the RSVP deadline. If a person earns 3 strikes, they will be removed from the group for 5 months. All we ask is you show up if you are signed up.

Last year we had so much fun hosting a corn hole tournament. Remember all the fun we had watching 2 teams of 2 battle it out against each other on who could toss those bean bags and earn the most points??

Well, it is time to do it again! 😊 We will pick teams by random draw and once again have a great time playing corn hole.
Once teams are picked, a single elimination tournament will begin. This will continue on until there is one last team remaining, and they would be crowned our 2nd Annual Corn Hole Champions.🏅🏆

NOW FOR THE PRIZES: We would like to have everyone who participates in the tournament pay an entry fee of $5. Then, whichever 2 teams make it to the final round, they will be the recipients of a cash prize from the entry fee collected, with the 1st place team getting a slightly higher amount. 🤑 Who says a little cash prize can't make the games a little bit more exciting and competitive. 🤭 But of course it's all about having fun and enjoying an afternoon together.
Before this tournament starts, as well as during and after, there will be other games to play. This will be a good time to get aquainted with other members in our group and have fun playing all types of games. So PLEASE, if you have a fun board or card game, bring it. The more the merrier. 😁

NOW, for the best part. THE FOOD! Judy, Sharon, Jen and Terri will be bringing some sweet treats and snacks 🍪🍦🧁🍿🥜 for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. 😋
We just ask that you bring your own drinks. NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED in this community room. So no wine, beer, etc. can be brought in.

***We would like everyone who signs up to attend, play in this fun tournament. We have a max of 24 people attending, and that is a good, even number of people to set up a tournament bracket. So plan on playing if you sign up. This day is all about playing games.

None of us are corn hole professionals 😉, so we're sure that fun would be had by everyone. If you've never played before, don't worry. We will explain all the rules, and it'll prove to be fun for everyone. 😊😁 Plus, we will let you practice so you can get your throwing of the bean bags right on target.🎯

After we are done playing corn hole, the rest of the afternoon will be spent playing other board games and visiting with each other. (and of course, snacking on all the delicious treats) 😋.

We will be gathering once again at the Community Room of Sharon's apartment complex. This room has a fridge (to keep your drinks cold) and plenty of space for everyone. We just need to clean up the room once we are done.

RSVP rules still apply - if you do not remove yourself from the “Going” list within at least 2 days from the start of the event, you will get a strike. Or, if you are on the “Going” list and you do not show up, you will get a strike.
3 strikes against you will result in your removal from the group for 5 months. All we ask is that you show up when you say you will.
