PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
These rules are intended to prevent anonymous stalkers and harassers from plaguing our group. Profiles that do not meet the following requirements will be removed from the group.
Your profile must:
* Use your real first name. (Exceptions can be made for privacy if you have a very uncommon or recognizable first name. Contact an organizer.)
* Last name is optional, but we recommend using the first letter of your last name, especially if you have a common first name. Example: John D
* Use a recognizable head shot. (Again, exceptions can be made for special stalking circumstances. Contact an organizer.)
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
* If your profile has been inactive for more than six months, you will be removed from the group. This is to protect your privacy. You are welcome to rejoin the group at any time.
* No-showing to events takes up a spot someone could have used. It's not cool. Life happens to everybody, but just please give everyone the courtesy of changing your RSVP. If you regularly no-show to events, you will be asked to change your ways. Repeat offenders may be removed from the group. Extreme offenders may be blocked.
BEHAVIOR REQUIREMENTS
* Anybody who posts anything inappropriate or offensive on Meetup or Facebook will be removed and/or blocked from both platforms.
* Anybody who behaves in a threatening or inappropriate manner towards any other member, either during an event or outside of an event, will also be removed and/or blocked from both platforms.

UPDATE: I had to push the time out just a bit due to a work conflict.
This is a family-friendly event.
Join us for a weekend of music, magic, and wonder at the annual New York Capital District Renaissance Festival. The two-day event, set in the bucolic fields and orchards of Indian Ladder Farms in Altamont, NY, has a little bit of fun for everyone.
Shop more than 60 artisan vendors offering everything from custom-made jewelry to pottery, weaponry, and Renaissance garb!
There’s plenty for children, too. Sing songs with The Charmings — princesses from yore — come dressed for a knighting ceremony and a separate costume contest, or just spend some time in the sun playing in the Kid’s Kingdom – a land of peace and imagination.
Catch befuddling feats of magical skill, fierce sword-fighting acts, musical performances, and, of course, the Royal Joust!

- Cryin' Out Loud at Doc Browns - followed by more fun!Dock Brown's, Saratoga Springs, NY
Hello folks, let's have fun with Cryin' Out Loud party band at Doc Brown's.
Since 1999 Cryin' Out Loud has entertained clients specializing in Weddings and Corporate Events. Provided live music that is cross-generational, fun, with the excitement of being Concert Quality and professionally delivered. Cryin' Out Loud play a perfect mix of music to keep the crowd entertained, on their feet, and dancing all night long. Their energy is contagious and they know how to keep a party on the dance floor!
I had the opportunity to see Cryin' Out Loud perform last year and they delivered, indeed pure energy! Danielle’s jaw dropping range will send shivers down your spine when she covers Bring Me To Life and My Immortal from Evanescence.
Great dynamic range click on sample song Bang Bang under "Now Hear This!" https://www.cryinoutloudlive.com/
And at an awesome summer venue with gorgeous sunsets, this doesn't get any better! It's time to let loose and dance and get Doc Brown's hopping.
Should be a great evening for outdoor music, drinks and dancing.
This will be a loosely organized meetup and there are no reservations at this venue, however I will try to arrive early around 6ish to secure seats out in the yard. If someone else can arrive early as well to help secure an seats, the would be great. Also feel free to bring a camping chair.
If you are new to the group: we are easy to find and very friendly! We are usually the group laughing the loudest... and dancing the hardest.
Should you get a grumble in your tummy, there is a food truck on premise with reasonably priced items. Please note...No Cash, Credit Card - only!
Doc Browns - Beach Bar is a popular summertime venue, the parking lot can get full, I would suggest getting there early and carpooling.
There is a nominal $7 cover charge.
Optional, pack a camping chair.Cryin' Out Loud performance ends by 10pm and likely you'll be energized and the night's still young, so let's paint the town red in lively Saratoga afterwards!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
