Welcome to the Autistic Professionals Network - Wellington!
Are you on the Autism Spectrum and seeking connection and growth? Then please join our group of neurodiverse adults in Wellington.
We together embrace and celebrate neurodiversity through human networking, shared life experiences, and professional development. Whether you are employed, unemployed, looking for work, or just hanging out, you are most welcome to join us.
We welcome all neurodivergent individuals recognising the rich mosaic of perspectives that ASD intersects with like ADHD, Dyslexia or Dyspraxia.
If you self-identify as neurodivergent, you are welcome here.
Our safe and inclusive space fosters learning, support, and navigating the unique challenges and triumphs of neurodiversity in the world.
We're grateful for our neurotypical allies (also welcome to join this group) who build bridges and amplify our voices. Let's all celebrate the beautiful symphony of neurodiversity together.

Monthly Networking Social
The Arborist, 166 Willis St, Wellington, NZYou are warmly invited to the Autistic Professionals Network Wellington monthly social!
It's your haven for relaxed networking and camaraderie in a chill space. Grab a drink or snack at the bar, kick back, and have a great time. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, we welcome you with open arms.
Inside The Arborist:
We have a reservation in their private Function Room. Come through the main entrance, then keep going straight, all the way to the end of the bar.
Deals At the Arborist:
The event starts at 6:00pm, but The Arborist has happy hour with 2 for $20 slushies (frozen cocktails) from 4-6pm. Feel free to order at the bar before 6:00pm to grab this deal.
Finding Our Group:
We will be hanging out in the function room at the very end of the bar. Just go through the sliding door on the ground floor. If you happen to get lost or need someone to meet you outside to show you the way, don't hesitate to message our Facebook page.
Day-Of Event Updates:
We’ll post a comment a half-an-hour before the event on Meetup and on our Facebook page if there are any changes.
First-Timer Friendly:
If it’s your first time message our Facebook page and we’ll meet you outside. We totally understand those first-time jitters.

Year-End Holiday Gathering
Autism Nz Resource Centre, 20 Sydney Street, Lower Hutt, NZCelebrate the year with good food and good fellowship.
Bring your favourite home-baked goodies to share and hang out with the new friends you made this year.
If you don't feel like baking then just come and share in the bounty of good snacks, coffee/tea, good fellowship, and mellow conversation.
There is no agenda for this Meetup except good times.

Lean Coffee Conversation
Autism Nz Resource Centre, 20 Sydney Street, Lower Hutt, NZJoin us for this low-key, agenda-less gathering where we'll explore topics you choose!
Come prepared to share your ideas, ask questions, or just soak it all in. We'll be using the "unconference" Lean Coffee Conversation format, so expect inclusive, engaging discussions and valuable insights led by you, the participant.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or a bright newcomer, you're welcome here. Our mission is to thrive together, support each other, and make a meaningful impact on the world.
