This kicks off our first event since Snehal and I took over the user group!
Parking is in the front, come in through the main entrance and look for suite 100. Doors open at 5:30 PM ET with pizza and drinks while we do some light networking. Vegetarian options will be available, if you have other dietary restrictions, note them in your RSVP by the Monday before and we'll do our best to accommodate.
At 6:00 PM we begin with the main topic, which runs about an hour including introductions from our host (Improving) and our organizers (Patrick and Snehal).
After that we'll give a preview of our next meetup and collect some feedback from you. We want these events to be frequent and valuable!
As for the main topic, the title might make you roll your eyes, it might confuse you, or, if you're like me, it might excite you, but going live with Amazon Connect isn't the finish line. It's the starting gun of a well paced marathon.
New capabilities land in Connect monthly. The rate at which Generative and Agentic AI evolves has driven unprecedented service deprecations. The instance you went live on eighteen months ago isn't the one you're running today, and it won't be the one you're running in December.
It shouldn't be, because if nothing's changed, that's the problem, not the rate of change. Why? Because your organization is changing too. Your mission, your business, your customer expectations, none of it stands still. So why would your contact center?
In this session we'll apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework as a working lens for Amazon Connect: what to think about before you go live, and how to build a practice that keeps pace with the platform as it evolves.
