Bangkok Walking Adventures

This week walk will start from Rajawongse to Marine Department pier. It should take 3 hours. Songwat Road is old and charming attraction road which blended the old architecture with the new boogie cafe and restaurant. We expect to visit such as;
1. The Idian building or Tuek Kheak
2. Tea Shop house where they sell varieties of tea such as oolong, jasmine, flower tea.
3. Sin Pun Tao Kong shrine or Uncle Chinese god shrine the hidden gem of Songwat
4. Pei Ing School established in 1920. It is the first Chinese and longest standing school in Bangkok.
5. Wat Samphanthawong was built in Ayuthaya and was once surround by canals. Therefore the former name was Wat Ko or the Isalnd Temple
6. Street Art along Songwat
As usual, kindly prepare 300 THB to join the tour. It pays for your great guide, it allows us to keep surveying and bring more tours in the future and for train and bus. Hi all,
This during week walk we will explore from KLong San to Sapan Put quiet district or the old town of Thonburi. We expect to visit and pay respect to Buddha image , God and Goddess Shrines. We will start from BTS gold line Klongsan station and finish near MRT sanamchai.

There's all kinds of interesting places:

• Pom Pong Put Chamitr the abandoned fort since Rama 4 to defence our enemy by the river
• The old flag pole
• Chi Chin Ko the local foundations
• hidden mosque
• Abandoned palace
  etc.
  On the way we will stop for coffee at Amazon tha dindeang and having lunch together at Sai restaurant by the river.
  Please Bring your camera or just come to enjoy the atmosphere (and maybe some of the coffee or snacks that are available along the way). As usual, kindly prepare 300THB to join the tour. It pays for your great guide, and it allows us to keep surveying and bring more tours in the future. Lunch and drinks are not included in the price.

Hi all,

It is time to leave Bangkok to Eastern seaboard. It is going to be a a lot of fun! We're visiting the "100-Years Market", a genuine Thai local weekend market, where you can see places of business from yesteryear, like barbers and herbalists, in their original setting.

In the same neighbourhood is the temple with the giant reclining Ganesha statue, also well worth a visit. Interesting garden and pond, and definitely great photos ops :)

Not far from the Ganesha is Chachoengsao's most famous temple, the most interesting sights at the temple, however, are not related to religion – they are the temple’s resident bats which reside in the trees within the temple grounds. They are the world’s largest bat species, the bats have a wolf-like face, reddish-brown fur and a nearly 1-meter wingspan.

Last but not least is visiting the temple on the sea, famous for it's huge amount of tiny bells which visitors (and their loved one(s)) inscribe and leave there.

Lunch will be overlooking the ocean at Bangpoo. You can also feed the seagulls there. They are famous for their tricks, like snapping up bread you throw before it hits the water, though be warned - they are not afraid of people and may sometimes come a little too close.

The ticket for this trip will be 950 THB. This will pay for your guide, the VIP van (+ driver + fuel). We will be visiting a restaurant overlooking the ocean for lunch, which provides great seafood. You can choose your own lunch here - this lunch is not included in the ticket price. Any personal shopping is naturally not included either.
