About us
Basel Circle ©
A friendly community to meet new people and build real friendships in Basel. (No dating).
What we do
We host relaxed meetups where locals and newcomers can connect through conversation, games, and shared activities. Meetings take place in cozy studios, community rooms, parks, or cafés, always in a friendly, low‑pressure atmosphere.
What Basel Circle © is not about: Our meetups are not about dating. We want everyone to feel comfortable. Basel Circle is about friendship and genuine conversation. Not romantic expectations.
How it works
Each meetup is different: icebreakers, group games, creative activities, or just talking over coffee. You can join in German or English, whatever is easiest.
Why join?
Because making new connections in Basel isn’t always simple. Basel Circle makes it (hopefully!) easier. Come alone or with a friend, bring your authentic self, and enjoy genuine encounters that may grow into lasting friendships.
Tips for joining
We’re a new, small group in Basel and every RSVP counts. Come as you are, our space is personal, with room for ten. Friendship starts with showing up and openness. Join us, be part of it, and help shape this community.
We are looking forward to meeting you!

Join Basel Culture Circle © for the Kunsttage Basel 🎨✨
Kunstmuseum Basel, St. Alban-Graben 8,, Basel, CHThe Kunsttage Basel are a temporary union of over 70 museums, art institutions, galleries, and artist-run spaces across Basel. Over three days, the regional art scene opens its doors with a rich program dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
We are excited to explore a selection of these venues together as a group! This event is hosted by Wei-Ping, who is looking forward to experiencing the art landscape together with everyone in a friendly, casual atmosphere.### What we are doing
- Date & Time: Sunday, 30.08.2026 | 13:00 – 18:00
- Host: Wei-Ping
- Meeting Point: Kunstmuseum Basel. Directly at the main entrance next to the ticket counters.
- Program & Flow: This is a relaxed, social gathering to experience art together, not a guided tour. Once the group of participants is set, we will take a vote via WhatsApp group to decide which other stations and venues to visit next. All ongoing coordination on the day will happen through the WhatsApp group.
### Info
- Costs: Joining our group is free
- Venue Entry: Many Kunsttage locations and open studios offer free entry. If we visit a specific venue that requires admission, everyone simply covers their own ticket (bring your student ID or Museumspass if you have one).
- Flexibility: Since the festival spans multiple locations, you are welcome to stay for the full time or drop out whenever it suits you best. Yet, we are trying to start together as a group.
### What to bring
- Comfortable shoes for walking between venues
- A valid ID / Student ID / Museumspass (if applicable)
- Water, snacks, and a friendly, open mindset to meet new people & experience art together
