Are you new to the Bay Area? Do you want to make new friends? Do you want to go hiking but don't want to do it by yourself? Are you curious about the breweries?
This group is for anyone interested in socializing and staying active in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We enjoy meeting new people so feel free to check out our events! Come say hi and see where that takes you :)
IMPORTANT RULES:
- Please RSVP before showing up and update it accordingly if you can no longer make it to the event.
- Please be respectful. We do not tolerate offensive behavior and ban people who harass other members of the group.
- The organizers are not responsible for any injuries or damage that may happen to you while attending any of our events, especially when doing anything outdoors such as hiking. You are responsible for your own safety at all times.

Pick-up basketball @ Lick Mill Park
Lick Mill Park, 4750 Lick Mill Blvd, Santa Clara, CA, USIf you're interested in playing basketball but the timing doesn't work for you, leave a comment below so I can get an idea of how much interest there is for this. If you have suggestions for other spots that are good for playing, put that in the comment too.
You can come earlier too and warm up on your own, or if you're looking for something else to do, you can join the meditation session earlier at the same park.
GETTING THERE
VTA has a couple routes that stop nearby: 20 (get off at the first Montague station in your direction), Green Line (get off at Lick Mill Station, doesn't show up in table but shows up in dropdown for origin and destination), and Orange Line (get off at Lick Mill Station, also doesn't show up in table but shows up in dropdown for origin and destination).BART's Orange and Green lines (BART's Orange and Green lines are different from VTA's Orange and Green lines) also connect directly with VTA's 20 (see above) at the Milpitas station, so you can also transfer from BART to VTA and get to our spot.
