The Beachy Head Ambassadors are hosting a FREE Laughter Yoga session which is being led by local yoga instructor and Beachy Head Ambassador, Christine.
Do you want to bring more laughter and joy into your life? Laughter Yoga is the right choice for you. Laughter Yoga (LY) is not a comedy. It is an exercise program developed by Indian physician Dr Madan Kataria where anyone can laugh without relying on humour, jokes or comedies. It is practised in more than 110 countries.
It combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing techniques (Pranayama) which brings more oxygen to our body and brain making us feel more energetic and healthier. Ten to 15 minutes of LY exercises can reduce stress, make your immune system stronger and keep your mind positive during challenging times.
This session is for EVERYONE and is all about relaxation and enjoyment, so no need to be an expert, Christine will guide you through it! You will need to bring a blanket to sit on (not a yoga mat) or a foldable chair for the session, as well as some water.
There will be a limit of 60 spaces so save your spot on the Meet Up event. If you find you are unable to attend, please remove yourself from the list so that someone else can have that spot.
In case of bad weather we will notify the group ahead of the session to let you know that it is cancelled but fingers crossed we get a beautiful sunny evening!

The Beachy Head Ambassadors want to encourage more local people to get out and enjoy the natural space and discover multiple ways to enjoy Beachy Head. The Ambassadors will be there to offer you further information on the area and tell you about other upcoming free activities which you will be able to sign up to. We hope that this session leads to more people using Beachy Head for mindful activities like yoga and enables more people to experience the positives of spending time outdoors.
