Looking for a writing community and time to work on your novel, poetry, short story, letter, or any other piece of writing? Join Writers Group on the 4th Tuesday of every month to gather with other writers. We will take dedicated time to write and then share what we’ve written (sharing is optional).

Join us at Coles Road Brewing to discuss The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell by Robert Dugoni. Contact the library for a copy of the book.
Drinks are available for purchase, but there is no charge to attend the book club.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own dinner or a snack to share. No outside drinks.

About the Book

Join us for a relaxing session of knitting and good company!

We are a friendly and welcoming group of all skill levels from beginner to advanced. It’s a great opportunity to trade knitting tips and tricks, and to socialize and make new friends—so come on down and join us for a fun and creative time!

Sit & Knit meets in the Library’s Blanche Johnson Delaney Large Meeting Room or occasionally the Marjorie Moore Board Room. We may also meet outside, if the weather is nice.

Learn basic cake decorating skills and decorate 3 autumn-themed cupcakes. Please bring a container for your cupcakes. All other supplies provided.
Cancellation Policy
Please be courteous. We purchase supplies for Make & Take programs and they typically have a waiting list. If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify us prior to noon on the day of the event. Failure to do so will result in a $5 charge.
