Board, Not Bored — 20-30s Hangout

Just a group for 20-30yr-olds to meet and hang out with other people who like board games.

For our events, the focus is on meeting new people and building friendships, so board game-play is causal, and we play to have fun. We choose between a variety of games every week — some light, some more complex, and some games that we can all play as a group — but with anything we play, all levels of experience are welcome!

While our main event is board games on Sunday’s, we also do non-board game related events on Tuesday’s and Friday’s, which are posted on either our meetup or discord (You can join the discord once you’ve attended one of our meetup events and scan our server’s qr code).

Rules & Guidelines:
If for any reason you feel uncomfortable during an event, or notice that someone else looks uncomfortable, please reach out to the organizers listed in our meetup group. You can message us via meetup or on our discord, during or after an event.

• Be respectful to others. Everyone should be made to feel welcome at our events. Hate or intolerance of any kind is not acceptable.
• We’re here to meet cool people and have fun, not to take games too seriously. Additionally, this group is welcome to all levels of board game experience, so be kind and helpful to whoever you’re playing with.
• If you plan on attending one of our events, make sure you sign up on meetup. It helps us prepare how much space we’ll need, and what games we’ll bring.
