Boise Introvert Group

Indian Creek Winery is hosting their annual Harvest Fest. I have been wanting to attend this event for years, but I have never been able to get it together before tickets sell out. This year has been one for new adventures, and I can finally add Harvest Fest to the list.

FYI: the bottom half of the announcement photo shows the ladies in a barrel stomping wine. Take that for what it's worth.

The Early Bird ticket is $10. I do not know if/when a price hike happens. The event will have food trucks, music, and comes with a commemorative glass. Wine is on your own, but as a club member I am owed a few bottles and hope to have someone suggest which one to open.

The vineyard itself is very relaxed, with open spaces and plenty of niches that allow for introverting while still getting to hear the music and enjoy a conversation. The wines are award winners, with both white and red wines, and even some more unique options such as port and ice wine. They do offer flights for those wanting to sample. At one point they were the only vineyard in the state that could grow a Pinot Noir.

The event will occur rain or shine. Dress for the weather. The place has many picnic tables scattered, so I will post a better description of my location when I get there. Consider bringing a chair or blanket, as I do not know how crowded the event will be.

Join the introverts for trivia! Questions range from sports to history to pop culture and everything in between - a little something for everyone. Trivia starts at 6:30, but I'm starting the event at 6:00 to give everyone time to settle in and order food and drink. Parking is free at Julia Davis Park across from the history museum.

I'm currently setting the group size at 8 (this the the size limit for a team, so make sure your RSVP is accurate). If you are on the wait list, keep an eye out - if there is enough interest for a second team, I'll expand the group size and bring people in off the wait list closer to the event.

It's that time of year again! And while it doesn't seem possible that Thanksgiving is right around the corner, I can assure you that it will be here before we know it... yikes!

The good news is that we'll have something fun to look forward to! This will be our 4th year hosting the Turkey Day 5k, so it is sort of tradition now. I really do enjoy soaking up the energetic atmosphere and starting the holiday off right in beautiful Downtown Boise.

Every activity level is welcome, whether you are sprinting, walking, jogging, or running. I am going to attempt to jog / run it this year, so we'll see how that goes 🤷‍♀️

About the event:
2026 marks the 16th year that the event benefits both the Boise Rescue Mission and Camp Rainbow Gold teams. As Boise continues to grow, so does the need for the services these organizations provide. Just by showing up you are already helping to contribute to these great organizations!

If you are able, you can also bring extra canned food or make a donation directly to these groups.
