About us
Welcome, remote workers! Do you miss the after-work happy hour, but not the office grind? Then, this group is for you.
Working from home has plenty of perks, but it can also make it harder to meet new people and build community outside of work. This group is a casual way to get out of the house, make new friends, expand your network, and connect with other professionals in the Boise area.
Most events are relaxed social gatherings rather than formal networking events. Remote workers are the heart of the group, but professionals with hybrid or in-person jobs are welcome too.
If you enjoy the group and would like to help keep it going, even a small contribution helps cover the annual Meetup organizer fees due each November. Thank you!

Table for Eight: Women's Dinner at Tavolata
Tavolàta, 524 W Grove St, Boise, ID 83702, USA, Boise, ID, USPLEASE READ the full event details before RSVPing—this small-group dinner has different RSVP requirements than our regular events. RSVPs open on 10/15 at noon (two weeks prior to event date).
Join us for Italian dinner at Tavolata and enjoy menu items like Spaghetti Pomodoro, Bucatini Carbonara, and Squid Ink Paccheri.
This gathering is limited to 8 women. I've received requests for smaller events where members have opportunities to develop more meaningful friendships, so let's try something new with Table for Eight.
### RSVP & Reservation Details
- Please arrive on time: Some restaurants will not seat a group until the full party has arrived. (We have a 6:30pm reservation)
- $20 refundable deposit: Please Venmo your deposit within 48 hours of RSVPing. After you RSVP, you'll be added to the group chat that includes Venmo details. Restaurants may charge $25/person for no-shows, and some require a credit card to secure the reservation.
- No deposit: If your deposit isn't received within 48 hours of RSVP, your spot may be released to someone on the waitlist.
- Attending: Your $20 deposit will be refunded in full when you arrive.
- Need to cancel? Please cancel at least 48 hours before the dinner so someone on the waitlist has time to make plans and take your seat.
- Late cancellations/no-shows: Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours before dinner or for no-shows.
