Book Lover's Chat Room - what have you been reading lately?

Let’s talk about your favorite book! This is a small online gathering space for book lovers, where each participant shares what they’ve been reading and exchanges thoughts and opinions. The conversation is held in English. The host is not a native speaker, so if the host stumbles, just laugh and let it go.
To keep the conversation comfortable, the number of participants for each event will be kept to a minimum. Each participant will take a turn introducing any book from any genre. There’s no specific book you need to finish beforehand — you can choose freely. Sharing what you felt, noticed, or discovered should be at the heart of the discussion. Every participant is encouraged to offer comments, questions, or thoughts in a casual, relaxed, and respectful manner.
The host is a bookworm who enjoys both English and Japanese books, and the same applies here — you’re welcome to choose either, or anything else, as long as you introduce it in English.
