About us
Welcome to the Bookends Community Club! 📚✨
Hosted by Bookends Bookstore in Dubai Silicon Oasis, our group brings together book lovers, curious minds, and community seekers. While we’ll host regular book club events to dive into stories and share perspectives, our vision goes beyond the page. Expect social gatherings, themed discussions, author meetups, and creative events—all designed to spark connection, conversation, and a sense of belonging.
Whether you’re a passionate reader, someone looking to discover new authors, or simply interested in making new friends in a warm, welcoming setting, you’ll find your place here.
We’re rooted in DSO but open to everyone across Dubai (and beyond). Bookends is a UAE-born bookstore and pre-loved book marketplace founded by Grace Chaoul Karim and Somia Anwar, with a mission to make books accessible and build a literary community. Come for the books, stay for the community. 💬☕
