About us
Welcome to the Boston Generative AI Meetup!
Founded in 2023 and now more than 6,400 members strong, this is one of the largest generative AI communities in the country. We meet every 6 weeks or so at the Microsoft NERD Center in Cambridge for an evening of engaging discussion, knowledge-sharing, and networking as we explore the fast-moving world of generative artificial intelligence.
This meetup brings together AI business professionals and executives, creators, researchers and academics, entrepreneurs, designers, and artists from across Greater Boston to engage with the cutting-edge models, tools, and applications reshaping how we work and create.
We cover the full landscape, from frontier language and reasoning models like OpenAI's GPT-5.5, Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 and Claude Opus 4.8, Google's Gemini 3.1 Pro and Gemini 3.5 Flash, xAI's Grok 4.3, Meta's Muse Spark, DeepSeek V4, Alibaba's Qwen 3.7 Max, and Moonshot's Kimi K2.6; to image generators such as Midjourney, FLUX, Google's Nano Banana, GPT Image, Adobe Firefly, and Stable Diffusion; to video models like OpenAI's Sora 2, Google's Veo 3.1, Runway Gen-4, and Kling; to audio and music tools like Suno and ElevenLabs; and the rapidly expanding world of autonomous AI agents and agentic platforms, including Claude Code, Manus, and the new wave of MCP-connected tools. Discover how these technologies, and your peers right here in Boston, are transforming business, creativity, and operations across B2B and B2C industries.
