Hackthebox:
This month instead of a talk we will be grouping up and completing boxes and challenges on Hackthebox. For those uninitiated, Hackthebox is a really cool platform that presents you with intentionally vulnerable hosts and applications to attack in order to build your offensive security skills. Please come prepared to participate by:
- Bringing a laptop capable of connecting to WiFi.
- Registering an account on https://app.hackthebox.com/.
- Taking the extra bit of time to make sure you can access challenges and connect to Hackthebox's lab network. Due to the number of attendees, organizers will NOT be able to assist everyone with troubleshooting getting connected. This is something you'll need to do beforehand if you want to participate, otherwise you can team up with someone else and collab.
- Finally, check out the platform and try a challenge or two before you come. It's pretty fun :)
