Our 54th Boston Hardware Meetup is coming up at Formlabs! Formlabs is a 3D printing technology developer and manufacturer. The company develops and manufactures 3D printers and related software and consumables.
This month we'll be focused on sustaining engineering and it's role in customer success.
ββWe have a great group of guest speakers
- ββCasey Goulet is a Sustaining Engineering Manager at Formlabs. He and his team are responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving product issues that drive customer pain. He will speak about how he has been Engineering Customer Success at Formlabs.
- βββMike Stone is a partner at Cofab Design, a mechanical engineering studio that develops new hard tech products and the strategies to make them. At Cofab, Mike and his team shepherd clients up to and into sustaining engineering phases where decisions from development have impacts on ongoing product and customer support. He'll talk about how to set the foundation early for downstream sustaining engineering practices, differences between development and sustaining mindsets, and managing the transition from launch to sustaining while working with internal and external resources.
