Bowie Board Games and RPG Meetup Group

Join Susan at Ledo Pizza & Pub (Bowie Rt 197) for some weeknight gaming. The main game will be Steampunk Rally starting by 7:15. This is a racing game featuring dice rolling and management, with a side of card drafting. If there's time and interest we can also play a short game like Faraway or a few rounds of Scout.

If you'd like to order dinner, please arrive by 6:30 to have time to eat before we start playing. (If you need to come a little later, you can message me your order ahead of time and I'll put it in with our server for you.)

If you'll only be getting a drink or ordering takeout for later, please arrive by 7.

Location: Ledo Pizza & Pub is a full-service restaurant with a casual atmosphere. There's also a full bar. Everyone is expected to order something. It doesn't have to be much -- a soda is fine -- but we want to support the business and make sure we're welcome back. FYI calzones are only 6 dollars on Tuesdays and they currently have a 10 dollar "pizza + side" meal deal.

The dining area is self-seating and we're usually in the center section. Please walk in and look for the board game boxes and the Bowie Board Game Group table sign. If you're early and don't see me yet, there are seats right at the front where you can wait.

Join Andrew at the Bowie library for some afternoon gaming featuring Horrified: Greek Monsters, a co-operative game in which the players defeat creatures such as Medusa, Cerberus, and the Chimera.

We may have time for a second game; Andrew will bring some lighter games that the group can choose from. These will all be teaching games so it's fine if you don't know already how to play, and these titles are suitable for both newer and more experienced players.

We'll meet on the second floor of the library at one of the tables past the computer area, next to the study rooms.

Join us for an afternoon of board games featuring Harmonies. Harmonies is a pattern-building and tile-placement game with lovely artwork and a relatively simple ruleset. In this puzzle-y game, you'll be drafting tiles to add to your personal player board in order to attract animals and meet terrain scoring goals. Expect to spend about 1.5 hours learning and playing your first game. The teaching game will start at 1:10. New arrivals won't be able to join the game once it's underway, so please plan accordingly.

You're also welcome to play our other games or bring your own. If there's a specific game you'd like to play, please mention it in your RSVP.

This is a recurring event held on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
