About us

This meetup is set up for language learners, interested in practising either their Spanish or their English (or both), while socialising and having a good time by chatting with like-minded people. At the events there are no hard rules, but participants are encouraged to switch regularly between English and Spanish so everyone has a chance to practise.

Come join us for a laid-back afternoon at St George Park for our Vibras de Verano picnic and BBQ!

This isn't a strict language exchange or a structured class—it's all about the social vibes, soaking up the sunshine (fingers crossed!), and enjoying great company with a Spanglish twist. Whether you speak fluent Spanish, basic English, or just want to hang out and meet cool people in Bristol, everyone is welcome!

## 🎒 What to Bring

To make the afternoon as comfortable and fun as possible, please bring along:

Food & Drink: Bring your own items for the BBQ and picnic, plus whatever you'd like to drink. Felix will bring his own portable BBQ grill!
Comfort: Don't forget your picnic blankets, camping chairs, and sunscreen!
Games: Have a football, frisbee, or card games? Bring them along!
Music: If you play an acoustic instrument (guitar, ukulele, percussion) or have a portable speaker, bring it to help us set the perfect background soundtrack.
