About us
The Upper Bucks County/Lehigh Valley area has become a hotbed of activity in the beer and wine world in recent years and this group will explore this booming part of our local economy and culture.
There are more than 20 microbreweries in this region and more than 30 wineries. Brewpubs, craft beer bars and wine bars are also fair game for this group. We'll learn about the beer and wine-making process and of course get to sample the fruits of our local entrepreneurs' labors.
Expect monthly meetups, tours, tastings and just hanging out, making new friends and enjoying good times, and maybe some scenic views in the process. Whether you're into beer, wine or both, or just interested in exploring and getting to know the area better, this group is for you.
No dues, fees or cover charges, this is a fun thing for me, not a side hustle.
See you on the trail!

Christmas in July: South Side Bethlehem Brew Crawl 3
Country Club Brewing, 323 Pierce Street, Bethlehem, PA, USIt's the last Saturday in July, exactly 5 months til Christmas, in the Christmas City, so this calls for another Christmas in July brew crawl in South Bethlehem.
We'll start things off at Country Club Brewing on Pierce Street. Oddly enough, this brewery opened its doors right around the same time I started this meetup group, late in 2022.
We'll head to the South Bethlehem Greenway from there, stopping at the Five Maidens Cider Company on Polk Street. If you don't want to show cider a little love, they pour some local microbrews as well.
From there, we'll head back to the Greenway and down to Bonn Place Brewing on Taylor Street, where the motto is Nice Beers for Nice People. It's on the small side, but it's hip and cool and the beer's pretty good too.
We'll return to East 3rd for the fourth stop on this year's tour: the Colony Meadery. The specialty is mead--alcohol made from honey--but they also pour eight different Weyerbacher draughts.
It'll be dinner time once we're done there so that brings us to the fifth and final stop: The F&A Grog House, a beer bar with 52 different beers on tap.
And there are free concerts at Steel Stacks and Artsquest if you want to keep the party going into the evening.
Plan to join us for all or part of the afternoon for this day-long celebration of our local craft brew culture.
See you there!
