This group is for those who really enjoy spending time outdoors - in and with nature. We will be camping at some of the best spots in MD,PA and VA. Many state parks that offer camping also have a variety of other activities like hiking, biking, or kayaking, that you can try out or if you prefer, just spending time reading a good book in front of the campfire. No matter if you camp in a tent, an RV,a car or just under the stars, you are welcome to join the group. Even if you have never camped before but would like to try it, this is the group for you! So get your camping gear ready and Let's Go Camping!

Smallwood State Park is located on the Matawoman Creek in Southern Maryland. The 628 acre park offers a marina, boat launching ramps, a picnic area, camping area, pavilions, two playgrounds, and nature trails.

Greenbrier State Park is a public recreation area located on South Mountain, three miles northeast of Boonsboro in Washington County, Maryland, USA. The state park has camping, hiking trails, and a 42-acre man-made lake.

YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATION! The link is below. I am in the BIRCH LOOP #43. This loop is a non-electric one but the Cedar Loop is ALL electric. There are plenty of sites available now but book early as this is a very popular state park and they will fill up fairly quickly. Even if you are uncertain at this time, you can always cancel or offer to sell to another camper. I look forward to seeing you there!

Come Camping at a new location at Pine Grove Furnance State Park, PA. Nestled in Michaux State Forest, the park's 696 acres offer wildlife and nature enthusiasts a variety of activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming and of course, camping.

YOU MUST MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATION!! The link is below along with the one for the campsite photos. I am in the HORSESHOE LOOP site#25. There are both electric and non-electric sites available at this time. Book your site early before they fill up. Let's go camping at a new location, POWHATAN STATE PARK in VA. It is nestled near the James River with 2.5 miles of waterfront that offers swimming and boating/kayaking. The park has 12 miles of multi-use trails so you can hike to your hearts content. The RIVER BEND CAMPGROUND has 28 SITES THAT ARE ALL ELECTRIC.
