"An Instant Community in a Box"
We’re teaching and playing the game Blood on the Clocktower, the supernatural murder mystery social deduction game where death is not the end, and no game is ever the same. Atlanta Clocktower is one of the fastest-growing groups on Meetup for a reason. Join us the 4th Saturday of the month on the Beltline in Inman Park to play the game that has taken the gaming world by storm! And meet a whole community of new friends while doing it.
In a nutshell, the game takes place in the Medieval village of Ravenswood Bluff, where a Demon is killing the villagers every night. You'll be randomly (and secretly) assigned to either the blue team of peaceful villagers or the red evil team of the Demon and its Minions. Every character is different and each knows different things or has special powers. The evil team will be bluffing as good characters. You'll mingle and chat one-on-one and in a group with all the characters -be careful - your new ally might just be a demon in disguise. But fear not, death is not the end! if your character gets killed, they can still participate as a ghost until the nail-biting last round.
Games run about two hours and we make a full day of it from noon to midnight! There are beginner-friendly games from noon to. 5:00 pm, followed by a dinner break. The Krog Market and Glide Pizza are next door, so we have access to amazing food! The evening session is an Intermediate/Advanced session registered separately for those with at least 5 to 10 games under their belt.
