About us
Cloud Native Computing means to create and drive the adoption of a new computing paradigm that is optimized for modern distributed systems environments capable of scaling to tens of thousands of self healing multi-tenant nodes. We are committed to advancing the development of cloud native technology and services by creating a new set of common container technologies informed by technical merit and end user value, and inspired by Internet-scale computing.
There are many open source projects running under the umbrella of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation: Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenTracing, Fluentd, Linkerd, gRPC, CoreDNS, Containerd, rkt
This meeting is open to everyone wanting to learn about these projects, both newbies and experts, committed to share their experiences and help others learn.

In 2024 I presented the history of paddelbuch.ch - serverless geospatial information system built on AWS to support the Swiss paddle sports community.
Then Kiro arrived! So what happened next? What did I accomplish with Kiro? And how did one, unexpected, conversation at AWS re:Invent 2025 massively change the technical underpinnings of Paddelbuch? All these questions and perhaps more will be answered in this session.---
Talk 3: Christian Blättler, zeitlos.softwareA swiss, cloud-native Alternative to Vercel and Heroku
Vercel and Heroku make it easy to deploy your apps but hard to leave. Lucity is my open-source take on the same developer experience, built on standard Kubernetes and Helm, with one hard constraint: you can eject at any time and keep running without it. I'd like to go deep on these decisions that are driven by the ejectability constraint of Lucity: – why Lucity has no Database and how it derives its entire state from Kubernetes and it's surrounding systems. – why Lucity discovery state lucity.dev/* labels instead of shipping CRDs – how it powers a feature-rich PostgreSQL offering based on CNPG – and lastly how these decisions make the eject project not a data migration but just a pure download of the Helm chart and values
