About us
Our mission is to cultivate local community connections through social volunteering. We've been doing this since 2012, and we have logged over 25,000+ service hours together as a community.
Who Are We?
Community-minded individuals primarily in their 20s and 30s who want to serve the community and meet new people. If that sounds like you, this is the meetup for you!
We serve an array of nonprofits (typically 2-3x per month)
and hold various social events throughout the month too!
Love Building Community?
Find us on Discord where you'll see curated posts about various social activities and community building events from your new volunteer community!
What You'll Do?
You will volunteer with variety of partners addressing issues relevant to Atlanta i.e. Urban Agriculture, Health Food Systems, Parks & Sustainability, Seniors, Animal Welfare, and more. Then, you'll get to know your fellow volunteers at a social gathering afterwards.

Community Bucket Volunteers with Chomp & Stomp
Cabbagetown, Atlanta, GA, Atlanta, Ge, US# Community Bucket Volunteers with Chomp & Stomp!
Come out and volunteer with us at one of Atlanta's favorite fall festivals, Chomp & Stomp! Join Community Bucket as we give back to the Cabbagetown community, enjoy some delicious chili, listen to live music, and catch up with friends!
We're excited to return to Chomp & Stomp on Saturday, November 7th! We'll be working the afternoon shift, helping festival organizers keep everything running smoothly. After our shift, stick around to enjoy the festivities with your fellow volunteers!
Volunteer Shift: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM (Please arrive at 2:30 PM)### What We'll Be Doing
Volunteers will have two opportunities to help:
- Beer Tent: Help sell and serve beer to festival attendees. This is a great option if you'd prefer to stay in one location throughout your shift.
- Worker Bees: Help festival organizers with various tasks throughout the event. This is a more active role where you'll move around the festival and assist wherever needed!
Want to volunteer alongside a friend? Select the same volunteer role and include their name in the comments section of your registration. Organizers will do their best to keep you together!
### Volunteer Registration — REQUIRED!
Everyone volunteering MUST complete the Chomp & Stomp volunteer registration in addition to RSVPing on Meetup.

As a thank-you for volunteering, you'll receive a Chomp & Stomp event T-shirt and a coveted chili-tasting spoon!### Come Early for Chili!
Chomp & Stomp's famous chili tasting begins at 12:30 PM sharp and typically wraps up around 1:30 PM.

### Parking & Transportation
Parking will be EXTREMELY limited! Cabbagetown is a small neighborhood, and parking near the festival will be difficult.
We strongly encourage volunteers to walk, bike, rideshare, or take MARTA. The festival is easily accessible from the BeltLine and the Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA station.### After-Party at 97 Estoria! 🍻
The fun doesn't stop when our volunteer shift ends! Join your fellow Community Bucket volunteers at 97 Estoria, a beloved neighborhood bar in Cabbagetown, for some well-deserved drinks, food, and good company! It's the perfect opportunity to unwind, hang out, and celebrate a great day of giving back.
After-party details are tentative and will be confirmed closer to the event!### About Chomp & Stomp
