Looking to meet new people, learn something different or simply spend time with your local community? Our Meetups bring people together through creative workshops, wellbeing activities, skills sessions, volunteering opportunities and community events across the Wakefield district.

Whether you're trying something new, sharing a hobby or just looking for a welcoming place to connect, you'll find a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. Everyone is invited to come along, get involved and help make our communities stronger, one event at a time.

Bring your sewing, knitting, crochet or craft project and enjoy a friendly afternoon with other local makers.

Whether you're halfway through a quilt, finishing a cardigan or simply want some company while you create, everyone's welcome.

Children are welcome too! Bring along sewing or craft kits to work on holiday projects, learn new skills and get creative alongside other young makers.

It's also the perfect chance to alter or repair school uniform before the new term—just bring the uniform and anything you'll need to work on it.
