Mission: COTA's mission is to develop, protect, and enhance the Central Oregon mountain bike experience through trail stewardship, advocacy, collaboration, and education.
Vision: COTA envisions a robust and diverse mountain biking experience that will endure for generations.
COTA is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer organization that works in conjunction with the USFS, BLM and other land managers to build and maintain trails throughout Central Oregon.

STAR-Trail F: Rock Work

Please only attend if you have rock work experience or have done a COTA rock work training.When: Meeting at the location below at 5:30pm. With a short 1/2 mile hike to the work site. Plan to be back at the vehicle by 830.

Go up Three Creek Road Turn left on NF 1608
Stay on 1608 for .25 miles then turn left on NF 1608-100.
Stay on this for about 1 mile until you see a parking area on the left. (Please drive in from Sisters. The backroads are can be pretty rough)
From there its .5 miles to the work site via PRT East and Double Ditch.What To Bring:
Required- Water
- Snacks
- Sturdy, close toed shoes
- Backpack to carry your things
- Long pants

- Sunscreen/chapstick
- Warm clothes (layers)
- Knee pads
- Work gloves (can be provided)
- Eye protection (can be provided)
All tools and hard helmets will be provided.
I will be checking the AQI daily and make a decision the evening before.
