🎃 CARVE @ the CRANK – RALEIGH: A Faux Pumpkin Carving Party!

We'll have plenty of free patterns to choose from, and all the tools you need to carve a faux pumpkin – just B.Y.O. pumpkin!
Feel free to bring your own advanced tools if you prefer.Get a 9" or 13" (recommended) hollow, faux pumpkin. You can order online at one of these retailers:

- 📖 Choose from one of many pattern books provided - featuring traditional Halloween patterns like witches, vampires, howling wolves, and more!
- 🕸️ Visit Zombiepumpkins.com and browse the patterns - we can print it at the brewery! (ZP membership required to print - we'll have that covered 👍)
Zombie Pumpkins also offers alternative patterns, such as Thanksgiving and other Autumn imagery for those who don't celebrate Halloween. - 🖊️ Draw your own Pattern!
Amanda is the organizer for this event and our weekly Craft & Draft meetups at Crank Arm Brewing. She is a long-time crafter and has carved faux pumpkins over the last ~15 years, with the goal of filling her porch and yard with Jack-o-lanterns for Halloween! Check the photos for this event to see some examples of her work. Most of the well-known character patterns are from Zombiepumpkins.com.

Join us on Mondays for our weekly run club in Durham! The run begins at 6:30 PM, with 2 mile, 3 mile, and 5 mile options (or make your own route around lovely downtown Durham). We recommend getting to the brewery at least 15 minutes prior to the run. Stick around after the run for some Crank Arm beer or beverage of choice! All paces are welcome.

Whether you’re picking up a new hobby or you're a seasoned maker, this is a space to create, connect, and get inspired. From 6:30–8:30pm (or later if you like!), we’re turning Crank Arm Brewing into a cozy creative space for crafters of all kinds — knitters, crocheters, cross stitch & embroiderers, punch needleers, paper crafts like origami & quilling, diamond painters, adult coloring enthusiasts, and more!
Stop by your favorite craft store and get a fun craft kit, or grab your WIP (work-in-progress) and head to Crank Arm! Settle in with a draft beer or beverage of choice. We also have plenty of cocktail and non-alcoholic options, including THC-infused seltzers. There's no pressure — just a relaxed night to create, share tips, and connect with other local makers.
