About us
Dallas AI is the largest 501(c)(3), nonprofit AI forum in North Texas with a community of 10,000+ professionals distributed over meetup and LinkedIn. Its mission is to help Dallas Fort Worth and Texas become a vibrant hub for AI via providing quality avenues for professional learning and networking. In the last 8+ years, the forum has conducted over 80 educational talks and workshops, partnering with top companies and academia at the forefront of AI research, including Hugging Face, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Verizon, MIT, University of Texas, UNT, Southern Methodist University and more.
Dallas AI is steered by local MIT Alumni leaders, Aamer Charania and Babar Bhatti. Dallas AI is backed by a strong board packed with C-level leaders and supported by a team of dedicated volunteers - all passionate about giving back to the community with their time and expertise. The large membership base of 10,000+ is very diverse, including professionals from a variety of industry verticals at different levels of their career journey - from C-level leadership to fresh graduates.
The Dallas AI forum is not tied to nor endorse any brand, vendor or product, thereby promoting unbiased, intellectual conversations, professional networking and learning without any sales aspects. Past speakers include: CTO of Hugging Face, Head of MIT CSAIL, the largest AI lab at MIT, Chief Data & Analytics officer of Travelers, Chief Revenue Officer of Qualtrics, Chief Technology Officer of VXI, Former Research Director of NSA (National Security Agency), Former Head of AI Research at Meta and many more.

The Dallas AI Summer Program offers students a unique opportunity to dive into the world of artificial intelligence. Through a blend of hands-on sessions, students will learn to design and train machine learning models, integrate them into software applications, and work collaboratively on a final project. The program provides a structured yet flexible environment for students to explore AI, culminating in a project showcase where they can demonstrate their skills to industry leaders. With a focus on practical skills and real-world applications, the Dallas AI Summer Program equips students with valuable experience and knowledge in the field of AI.
Program Duration: May 30, 2026 - July 25, 2026
Dates: Saturdays from June 6, 2026 **(**Once a Week)Cost:
● Verified Students: **$50 (***limited complimentary seats for students)
● Professionals: $150Session Topics:
- Model Development: Students learn to design and train AI models.
- Application Development: Students learn to apply and integrate models into software applications, including topics like agentic systems and deploying models on the cloud.
- Group Project: Students work in teams throughout the program to design an AI application
