Dawnbreak Games - Dark Ascendance 5.5e

The Group
At Dawnbreak Games, we put a lot of effort into making our games feel like an event worth looking forward to. Our group includes writers, artists, and storytellers who love creating memorable characters, locations, props, and adventures.
Just as importantly, we care about the table itself. We want a friendly, welcoming group where everyone gets room to roleplay, nobody is talked over, boundaries are respected, and players can be themselves without worrying about judgment or gatekeeping. Newer players are absolutely welcome, we're happy to teach.

The Campaign
Ancient powers stir across Faerûn, forgotten grudges resurface, and whispers from the Underdark speak of a coming age that could reshape the surface forever.

The party will be drawn into a growing conflict involving lost history, forbidden cults, divine rivalries, and powers that could decide the future of Faerûn itself.

Expect a dark, high-fantasy campaign focused on exploration, investigation, ancient lore, faction intrigue, dangerous alliances, and choices with world-changing consequences. The gods are watching, old enemies are moving, and forces long thought buried are beginning to stir once more.

Where
Games are hosted at a private residence in Parker with a large room dedicated to D&D. For everyone's privacy, the exact location is shared with confirmed players. We're happy to chat beforehand so you can get to know us and make sure the group feels like a good fit.

House Rules

• Homebrewed characters or requests must be approved by the DM.
• Attendees must be 21 or older (in case the party visits a tavern).
• Share the spotlight. Give everyone room to roleplay, respect other players' boundaries, and avoid behavior that makes someone else uncomfortable.
• Nat 20 for skill checks will result in the best possible outcome, but not a guaranteed success.

What to Bring
Bring your 5.5e character sheet starting at level 3, and any materials you'll need to play. If you don't have a character sheet yet and would like help making one, we are happy to help. We have dice but feel free to bring your own, as well as any snacks or other personal needs.
