Break Up With What Broke You, Columbus, Ohio
True Food Kitchen, 4052 Worth Ave, Columbus, OH, USOn a list of "My Favorite Things", few people would put a "break up" in their top ten. More often, these words evoke feelings of shame, embarrassment, poor choices, and bad or sad endings. Before the new and beautiful can be built, the old, broken, and unnecessary must be cleared away. This process can be painful, but it is good, needful, and can produce wonderful results when done wisely and well.
How does one break free from anxiety, comparison, or shame? Christian Bevere points people to the freedom God desires for His children, as well as giving practical ideas on how to shed both unhealthy baggage and the lies that seek to leave us anchored to past failure. Drawing from the Bible, Break Up With What Broke You clearly shows that what Satan would seek to use for evil, God uses for good and to accomplish His purposes.
Join us Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6:30 pm, when we gather at True Food Kitchen, Easton Town Center, Columbus. We'd love to see you there!

Dayton: A Study in Psalms--Psalm 7 and 8
Panera Bread at The Greene, 49 Chestnut Street, Beavercreek, OH, USWhen one has real and deadly enemies who seek to harm, kill, and destroy, the world can seem a very bleak place, with no hope to found in any direction. Psalms 3 through 6 paint a very clear picture of a man who knew what it is to have real and dangerous enemies, and the only right, safe and wise response to such evil--to run to God, Who does all things rightly and well.
Psalm 7 makes this hope abundantly clear--evil will be defeated, and God's righteousness will be victorious. Psalm 8 is a spontaneous, joyful, response of praise to God--the God Who created all things, the God Who uses children and infants to silence His enemies, because He can, because He is righteous, because He is powerful, because He is good.
We will continue our study in Psalms, looking at chapters 7 and 8, 6:30 pm, June 18, Panera Bread, The Greene, in Beavercreek. We would love to have you join us!
